From exceptional vineyards in the clay and calcareous terrain of the hills of our Estate, selected Barbera and Bonarda grapes are chosen for Gutturnio DOC Riserva Castello. The wine is aged in oak barrels, placed in barriques and refined for a long period in bottle. The noble and characteristic bouquet is exalted in an exceptional quality wine. A violet-red winey bouquet, pleasant almond taste, smooth, full body which acquires personality with age. Ideal with roasts and game. Serve at 20° C. Open two hours before serving. Decantering is recommended. A slight sediment is indication of traditional vinification and fermentation. |
